Child Activities (the "App") is an educational mobile application available on Android and iOS, designed for young children (ages 5 and under). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. The App is built under Google Play's Designed for Families program and Apple App Store's Kids Category, and is intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of the United States, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the provisions relating to children (GDPR-K), and Apple's policies for apps designed primarily for children.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Precise location data
• Photos, microphone recordings, or camera input
• Contacts, calendar entries, or other on-device content
• Device advertising identifiers for cross-app or cross-site tracking purposes
• Behavioral analytics, usage telemetry, or crash reports
• Any data that could be used to identify a child or parent

The App does not contain Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Apple Analytics, or any comparable third-party analytics SDK. No account registration is required or offered. The iOS version does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization because the App performs no tracking as defined by Apple's policy.

2. Information Stored Locally on the Device

The App stores a small amount of non-personal data on the device itself, using each platform's private storage (Android SharedPreferences, iOS UserDefaults, and flutter_secure_storage backed by Android Keystore / iOS Keychain), solely to make the App work between sessions:

• Interface language and learning language selected during onboarding
• Sound volume, sound on/off, and vibration preference
• Whether the onboarding flow has been completed
• Quiz progress (last question index per category)
• Whether the optional Quiz Mode + Remove Ads purchase has been made (a local cache of the entitlement returned by the platform's billing system)
• Coloring canvas thumbnails, stored as local PNG files in the App's private storage directory so the child can see their previous work

This data never leaves the device and is not accessible to us. It is removed when the App is uninstalled.

3. Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob on some screens (Home, Category, Settings, and Coloring). A single interstitial advertisement may be shown once per session when the user exits a category screen.

All ad units in the App are registered with AdMob's child-directed treatment setting enabled. This means:

• Ads are served in a non-personalized mode.
• Google does not use the device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA) to build behavioral profiles of users of this App.
• Ad content is limited to categories that Google has certified as suitable for children under Google Play's Families policy, Apple's Kids Category requirements, and the self-certified ad SDK program.
• On iOS, the App declares the SKAdNetwork identifiers required by AdMob; SKAdNetwork enables privacy-preserving ad attribution without sharing identifiers across apps.

Parents who prefer an ad-free experience can remove all advertisements by purchasing the optional in-app upgrade described in the next section.

4. In-App Purchase

The App offers a single optional, one-time in-app purchase called "Quiz Mode + Remove Ads" (product ID: quiz_unlock). Purchasing this item unlocks the quiz feature across all categories and removes all advertisements from the App.

The purchase is processed entirely by the platform's billing system — Google Play Billing on Android, or Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) on iOS. We do not see, receive, or store any payment information — card numbers, billing addresses, Google or Apple account details, or purchase tokens. The App stores only a local flag indicating whether the entitlement is active, and re-verifies this flag with the platform's billing system each time the App starts.

The purchase option is placed behind a parental gate in the Settings screen. It is not reachable from any screen a child would normally use, in line with both Google Play's Families policy and Apple's Kids Category guidelines.

5. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions it needs to function:

• Internet access — used solely to load advertisements from Google AdMob and to validate in-app purchase receipts. No other network calls are made.
• Vibration (Android) / Haptic feedback (iOS) — used for short feedback when a quiz answer is incorrect. Can be disabled in Settings.
• Billing / In-App Purchase — used only when a parent opens the in-app purchase screen, to communicate with Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit.

The App does not request access to location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar, Bluetooth, local network, App Tracking, or any other sensitive permission. The App does not run background tasks.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is specifically designed for children. Because the App does not collect any personal information from any user — child or adult — there is no personal information about a child that we could share, sell, or retain. Accordingly:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
• We do not create profiles of child users.
• We do not serve personalized advertising to child users.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use any contact details to send communications to children.

The App is listed under Apple's Kids Category and Google Play's Designed for Families program. Both programs require explicit compliance with applicable children's privacy laws worldwide.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because no personal data is collected on our servers (we do not operate servers that receive user data), there is nothing to retain and nothing to delete on our side. Local data stored on the device (settings, quiz progress, coloring thumbnails) can be erased at any time by:

• Android: Settings → Apps → Child Activities → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the App.
• iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Child Activities → Delete App, or long-press the App icon on the Home Screen and choose Remove App → Delete App.

8. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into the App for advertising is Google AdMob, used under its child-directed treatment configuration. The optional in-app purchase described in Section 4 is processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple In-App Purchase on iOS.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be reflected in a new version of the App submitted to Google Play and Apple App Store.
